The application status says transaction expired, regenerate.

I am also facing similar problem.
My 2016-17 Application number is 1600169423 / Base Application No. 2018024 and I tried to fill Application and make payment on 14-04-2016.
Eventhough we are asked to re-file the Application due to Expiry of validity of already generated challan, when we try again, we are not being allowed to pay, since Active Challan is supposed to be present .
BBMP officials at ward office are also pleading helplessness, asking us to try our luck after 10 days.
There seems to be no solution in sight to this big problem and citizens are not being permitted to pay the TAx that is due to the BBMP.
Request the authorities to simplify the software implementation like what was done in last few years and enable us to pay the TAx ASAP.
Or, altleast kindly advise us any alternate ways of moving forward to delete the already filled Application records and to make a new entry and make the payment.
