9 street lights are not working from in my area, all these 9 street lights cove more than 150..house in this area...none of the official is bothering about the complaint made througty phone...the problem is there for more than 8 eight days...

This is regarding insufficient lighting, we have already complained many times about this matter, but, request is rejected without even inspecting the area, simply sitting at the confort of your offices, you cannot understand the problems on ground.

this road consists of about 10-15 houses including 2 flats, because of courtesy of railways and construction, lot of debirs on the road and as well as on the sides which has given rise to free MOVEMENT OF SNAKES AND OTHER POISONOUS CREATURES AND FREQUENTLY WE COME ACROSS SNAKES AND BECAUSE OF NON EXISTENT LIGHTING , IT IS BECOMING LIFE THREATENING FOR SENIOR CITIZENS LIKE ME AND ALSO TO OTHERS. If you sit at your office and analyse the distance between 2 electric poles, it is of no use, please consider the on ground realty , please visit the site and you will come to know the danger we are facing on daily bassis.  If something goes wrong, who will take the reasponsibility?,  I request your officers to visit the site and analyse the situation.

In Hoysala Nagar 7th main, a very old SV street lamps are there. They are not replaced and we are facing problmes every now and then. But just opposite to our neighbour apartment, 2 new LED streetlights fixed. These are new fittings not a replacement of existing fittings. How is that possible? And why the non working streetlight is not fixed near to our apartment? How shall I get the requestor and the quota allocated for new fittings ?

The garbage collector in this particular street dies not come regularly. 

It's been 4 days he has come to collect the garbage. It is not the first time

I have lived in this area for 10 years and I have not seen this kind of irresponsible government worker . The fact that we even pay him monthly money to collect our garbage but at the end of the day he never shows up. This is a hygiene hazard at this point , when ever the guys come they never make any noise , the opposite street collector regularly comes and has a mic to announce, but the guys who comes in my street never does anything like I scream him to wait he leaves , also if we ask why he never came he would  start a scene on the road yelling and fighting with us .

I would like to bring to your kind attention the poor condition of the road in front of SLB PG for Ladies, near Sarjapur Main Road, close to RGA Tech Park, Chikkakannalli, Varthur Ward (Ward No. 149).

Currently, this stretch is just a mud road which becomes extremely difficult to use, especially during rains when it turns slushy and dangerous. It creates inconvenience to residents, office-goers, and PG occupants, and is unsafe for pedestrians.

I therefore request BBMP to kindly take immediate action to construct a proper all-weather road at the earliest.

If road construction is not immediately possible, we request that fly ash or gravel be spread as a temporary measure to make the stretch usable and safer for the public.

Your prompt action will be highly appreciated by the local residents and commuters.

I am writing to bring to your urgent attention that I had submitted a complaint on 24-06-2025 regarding an illegal construction in my neighboring property. The complaint was acknowledged by your office, and initial action appeared to have been taken, due to which the construction activity was stopped for some time.

However, I regret to inform you that the violation still persists. The owner has extended the balcony/structure up to the boundary without leaving the mandatory setback space, which is in clear violation of BBMP Building Bye-laws.

This unauthorized construction is causing serious issues, including:

• Obstruction of natural light and ventilation to my property
• Encroachment beyond permissible building limits
• Adverse impact on health and living conditions

Despite the passage of several months, no final enforcement action (such as demolition or rectification) has been taken by the concerned authorities.

While the RTI Act is an important instrument for ensuring transparency and accountability, it is respectfully submitted that the BMTF & RTI process should not be used in a manner that results in unnecessary harassment, personal targeting, or undue administrative burden on public authorities. It is observed that multiple RTI applications and related complaints have allegedly been filed by Mr. Lingaraju M C before BBMP, BESCOM, BWSSB, and BMTF involving repetitive queries, excessive demands for records, and matters that appear to extend beyond genuine public interest objectives. Such repeated applications reportedly consume significant public resources, divert departmental manpower, and disrupt routine administrative functioning. The concerns include: • Filing repetitive RTI applications on substantially similar subjects before BBMP, BESCOM, BWSSB & BMTF. • Seeking voluminous or unrelated records without clear public interestjustification and using alleged proxy addresses. • Causing avoidable diversion of departmental manpower and administrative resources. • Alleged use of BMTF & RTI proceedings for personal targeting or harassment of officials and private individuals. • Repeated correspondence and applications affecting normal administrative work. • Possible misuse of information obtained through BMTF & RTI for non-official purposes or publicity. • Alleged use of multiple or proxy addresses in complaints/applications, creating difficulty in identifying the actual originating source of repeated representations. In view of the above, I respectfully request the Hon’ble Commission to: 1. Examine the pattern and nature of the RTI applications submitted by Mr. Lingaraju M C before BBMP, BESCOM, BWSSB and BMTF. 2. Determine whether the conduct amounts to vexatious or abusive use of the BMTF & RTI mechanism. 3. Verify whether multiple or proxy addresses are being used in related complaints or representations. 4. Issue suitable safeguards or directions to prevent misuse of the BMTF & RTI process while preserving the legitimate objectives of transparency and accountability. 5. Protect public authorities from unnecessary harassment and excessive diversion of resources. 6. Take appropriate action if any abuse of process or violation of RTI provisions is found.
