Request for Urgent Intervention Regarding Ongoing Unauthorized Construction ? Multiple Complaints Ignored by Local Jurisdiction |

Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a serious issue concerning unauthorized and hazardous construction being carried out by my adjacent neighbor, in clear and deliberate violation of the sanctioned BBMP building plan. Despite submitting complaints on three occasions to the local jurisdictional office, no inspection or remedial action has been taken so far. The construction continues unchecked, and the situation is deteriorating rapidly.
I wish to highlight the following grave violations and concerns:

Violation of Sanctioned Plan: The ongoing construction deviates significantly from the BBMP-approved building plan, constituting a blatant violation of civic norms and regulations.

Damage to Our Property: The foundation of our house has been encroached upon by nearly half a foot, causing visible structural damage to our property.

Encroachment onto BBMP Land: The first-floor balcony extends approximately 4 feet into BBMP land, obstructing our home’s natural light and ventilation.

Privacy Violation: The design of the balcony allows direct visibility into our bathroom ventilation area, severely compromising our privacy and creating potential safety risks.

Illegal Staircase Construction: The staircase landing has been constructed over the encroached balcony, further compounding the illegality, as the balcony itself occupies BBMP land.

Substandard Wall Construction: A wall facing our property has been built using bricks only 2–3 inches thick, far below the prescribed minimum of 8–12 inches. This poses a serious structural and safety hazard, especially during any routine maintenance or construction work on our side.

Misuse of Our Property: Our wall was partially damaged to construct a showcase by the neighbor.

Obstruction Over Utility Lines: Bricks have been laid to construct a compound wall directly over underground water and electrical lines on the eastern side, which are situated on BBMP land. This threatens access to essential services and may cause long-term disruptions.
In light of the above, we respectfully request your esteemed office to:

Immediately dispatch a BBMP inspection team to the site to assess the ongoing violations.

Order a halt to all unauthorized construction activities with immediate effect.

Initiate strict legal action against the concerned builder/owner for repeated and willful violation of BBMP regulations.
-
Ensure removal of encroachments from public land and restore it to its rightful condition.

Safeguard our property from further structural damage and address the privacy and safety concerns raised.
This matter requires your urgent intervention. Continued inaction may set a dangerous precedent and endanger the rights and safety of law-abiding residents.

| Dear sir,
We have complained against unauthorised construction of residential building 1+5 floors in Ward No.20, BBMP Gangenagar to JC Nagar Range Office on May 2025. Your officials are stopped work for 2 months. but not taken any action against illegal construction. But, now the building construction is going on and putting doors, windows, plastering work etc., in the building. Sir, kindly look into the matter and take necessary action against illegal construction as public interest please.

I would like to escalate concerns with regard to an illegal construction of drainage that resulted in damage to BBMP property (Road) that may potentially endanger road users life and also damage to my property
Please take necessary action
The drainage was apprently on the other side and a complaint has be filed by that neighbour too |

| Sir/ Madam,
I am the owner of site no 760 located in Arkavathi 3rd block, Formed by BDA , Survey No 19/1 of Venkateshpura village. This is to bring it to your notice that, Site No 753 which is on west side of the site 760 has encorached 2 inches of my property and having the a wide big windows open towards Site 760. I have contacted the respective owner initially to get these closed and dont do plastering, he agreed for the same to close the openings with permanant construction. Despite multple followups, he is resisting to close the openings and now this will violate the BBMP Bylaws.
I would request you to intervene to here for the needful help. |

This is to bring urgent intervention on the unauthorised construction of residential building 1+5 floors in Ward No.87, @ Mathru Appartment No.45, 1st Cross Vasanthappa Garden, Doopanhalli, Indiranagar, HAL 2nd Stage Bangalore 560008 BBMP ward, However despite of the notification(initially electricity disconnected, understand that they have bribed the autothroty for restoring electrivity now), they have rented out the unapproved floors for a heavy rent in the building. Sir, kindly look into the matter and take necessary action against illegal construction as public interest please.
