I am a resident of #2, Lakshmi Nilaya, 1st Cross, Shirdi Sai Nagara, RK Hegde Nagara, Bengaluru – 560077. I wish to bring to your immediate attention the serious and growing problem of stray dogs in our locality.

Over the past several weeks, a pack of stray dogs has been creating constant disturbances in the area, particularly during late night and early morning hours. Their persistent barking disturbs sleep and causes severe discomfort to all residents, especially senior citizens, children, and those who work night shifts.

More alarmingly, these dogs have damaged my parked car, scratching the body and biting at the bumpers repeatedly. I have also witnessed these dogs chasing delivery agents, pedestrians, and even school children, creating a clear safety hazard. Local residents are increasingly afraid to walk outside, even during the day.

Despite previous informal complaints to local authorities, the situation remains unchanged. The number of dogs seems to be increasing, and their aggression is getting worse. This is a serious public nuisance and a safety issue, and we fear it could soon lead to injuries or accidents.

I humbly request BBMP to:

1. Take immediate action to capture and relocate aggressive stray dogs from our locality

We, the residents of Shirdi Sai Nagara, sincerely hope BBMP will act swiftly to address this issue and help restore peace and safety in our neighborhood.
