Subject: Complaint regarding road digging causing a week-long blockade and severe inconvenience during the festival season
Dear Sir/Madam,
- I am writing to express my deepest frustration and register a formal complaint regarding the unannounced and prolonged road digging work on 3rd Line, 7 th Cross , Teachers Colony ,BENGALURU, KARNATAKA 560078
The work began approximately one week ago, completely blocking off the road and causing immense inconvenience to all residents, especially during the ongoing Navaratri festival celebrations.
I am not sure is it officially communicated and get necessary persmisison from all the people including the resident community. This lack of transparency is really inconvenience, and the timing, right in the middle of our festival season, is particularly insensitive and inconsiderate. The blockade has resulted in numerous problems for the residents of our area, including but not limited to:
• Severe Traffic Disruption: With the main thoroughfare completely closed, residents are forced to walk parking there car in the street, leading to increased travel times and frustration.
• Obstruction of Daily Life: The road closure has made it difficult for residents to access their homes, and for delivery services, taxis, and public transport to operate smoothly.
• Safety Hazards: The excavated area is not properly barricaded, it poses a significant safety risk to pedestrians, especially children and the elderly.
• Negative Impact on Festive Spirit: The dust, noise, and overall chaos have disrupted the peaceful atmosphere of our festival, making it difficult for families to celebrate and for local businesses to thrive during this important season.
This poorly managed work has created a public nuisance, and it is a blatant disregard for the welfare of the citizens. While we understand that maintenance work is sometimes necessary, it must be conducted with proper planning, adequate public notice, and a timeline that minimizes disruption, particularly during major festive periods.
We kindly request that you take immediate action to:
1. Ensure the work is completed on an urgent priority basis and that the road is restored immediately.
We look forward to a swift and favorable resolution to this pressing matter. |
