GPMS Online Complaint Monitoring System
Complaint No. : CFT/CMT-13820
Project Name BBMP - FMS Complaint Raised Date 02-11-2025
Subject Heavy losses due to Abandoned Cattle Roaming Near River and Damaging Crops ? Harnota Khas, Himachal Pradesh
Complaint / Requirement

In our area of Harnota Khas, there are around 20 abandoned cows and 15 bulls roaming freely, especially along the river. These animals have been left unattended for several months and are now causing severe crop damage to nearby farms.

Even though the fields are properly fenced with barbed wire, the cattle still enter and destroy crops. Last year, farmers in our area suffered heavy losses, and the problem has repeated this year as well.

We request the concerned department to take urgent action to capture and relocate these animals to a nearby Gaushala or animal shelter through the Animal Husbandry Department or any authorized authority.
